Living Independently

This is an appropriate time to discuss what it would take to live independently. I think that is every young persons dream! If you have not already moved out of the family home it is a good idea to look at the extra costs of being independent. Consider the bond which is normally about 4 weeks rent paid in advance; removal costs, white goods, eg. refrigerator, washing machine, bed, lounge, microwave, television, electricity connection/gas, insurance if required. There will be regular ongoing costs which will amount up, eg. Food, toiletries, consumable cleaning products, broom, mop, vacuum cleaner, phone/internet, petrol, etc. Consider this move carefully and many people move out to be free and find they have no spare cash for the extras they enjoyed at home. Set up a budget as it would be very helpful.
